Project brief: Design a UST branded product for 5-10 years in the future that solves a problem faced by first responders and/or victims of disasters.

UST is a company that makes consumer survival and outdoors gear. My product would be part of a new sub-brand brand for UST that would specialize in equipment for first responders.

How might we improve the current type of SCBA?
What is an SCBA?
SCBA stands for ‘Self contained breathing apparatus.’ It is an system that delivers air from a tank into a mask. It is an essential tool used by firefighters. An SCBA consists of 3 main parts: A removable tank, a frame, and a mask.
What are the problems with SCBAs?
Rigid, uncomfortable, bulky, limited mobility.
